1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the services provided by icare BD ("Best Apple Repair Center in BD"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all repair services, bookings, and interactions with icare BD, located at 4th Floor, Ashan Trade Center, Besides Motalib Plaza, Hatirpool, Dhaka-1205, Bangladesh.
2. Services
icare BD provides Apple device repair services including but not limited to:
- iPhone, MacBook, iMac, Mac Mini, Mac Studio, iPad, Apple Watch, and AirPods repair
- LCD/Display replacement
- Battery replacement
- Dead device repair and diagnosis
- WiFi IC replacement
- SSD upgrade and storage expansion
- Water damage repair
- Face ID repair
- Keyboard and trackpad repair
- Logic board repair and micro-soldering
All repair services are subject to availability of parts and technician assessment.
3. Booking & Appointments
When you book a repair appointment through our website or WhatsApp:
- You provide accurate device information, contact details, and issue description
- Our team will confirm repair cost and estimated time via WhatsApp within 30 minutes
- Bookings are confirmed only after our acknowledgment
- Free pickup service is available within Dhaka city limits
- Walk-in customers are served on a first-come, first-served basis
4. Repair Process & Customer Obligations
- Customer must provide the device with any passcodes/passwords required for testing
- Customer must remove personal data or provide consent for data access during repair
- icare BD is not responsible for data loss during repair — please backup your data before submitting your device
- Customer must collect the repaired device within 30 days of completion notification
- Uncollected devices after 30 days may be disposed of or sold to recover repair costs
- Customer must report any pre-existing damage or modifications to the device
5. Parts & Quality
- icare BD uses original Apple parts and ICs for all repairs
- In cases where original parts are unavailable, high-quality OEM-compatible parts may be used with customer consent
- Customer will be informed before any non-original parts are used
- Part serial numbers are recorded in our system for warranty tracking
6. Warranty Policy
- All repairs come with a 6-month warranty from the date of repair completion
- Warranty covers the same issue that was repaired — if the same problem recurs within the warranty period, it will be fixed free of charge
- Warranty does NOT cover:
- New damage (drops, cracks, water damage after repair)
- Software issues unrelated to the repair
- Damage caused by third-party repair attempts
- Natural wear and tear
- Issues on parts of the device not included in the original repair
- Warranty claims require the original repair invoice/ticket
- Warranty is void if the device is opened or modified by any other repair shop
7. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (৳) and include applicable taxes
- Initial quotes are estimates — final pricing may vary after technician diagnosis
- Customer will be informed of any price change before repair proceeds
- Payment is due upon collection of the repaired device
- Accepted payment methods: Cash, bKash, Nagad, Bank Transfer
- Repair work begins only after customer confirms the quoted price
8. Diagnostic Fee
- A diagnostic/inspection fee may apply for complex issues
- The diagnostic fee is waived if the customer proceeds with the repair at icare BD
- If the customer declines repair after diagnosis, the diagnostic fee is payable
9. Repair Time
- Most repairs are completed within 1 hour of confirmation
- Complex repairs (logic board, micro-soldering, water damage) may take 2-24 hours
- Repair time may extend if parts need to be ordered
- icare BD will keep the customer informed of any delays
- Estimated times are not guaranteed and depend on workload and parts availability
10. No-Fix, No-Fee Policy
If icare BD is unable to repair your device, you will not be charged for the repair (diagnostic fee may still apply). This policy applies only if:
- The device was submitted for a specific repair issue
- No repair work has been performed on the device
- The device is collected within 7 days of notification
11. Data Privacy
- icare BD respects customer privacy and does not access personal data beyond what is necessary for repair
- Customer data collected during booking (name, phone, email) is used only for repair communication and warranty tracking
- Data is stored securely and is not shared with third parties except as required by law
- Customers may request deletion of their personal data by contacting us
12. Device Liability
- icare BD takes utmost care of all devices entrusted to us
- icare BD is liable for damage caused to the device during repair by our technicians
- icare BD is NOT liable for:
- Pre-existing damage not disclosed by the customer
- Devices that are already dead/non-functional before repair
- Data loss during repair (customer must backup before repair)
- Damage caused by manufacturing defects in replacement parts
- Maximum liability is limited to the cost of the repair service performed
13. Refund Policy
- Refunds are issued only if the repair fails and cannot be rectified
- Refund requests must be made within 7 days of repair completion
- Refunds are processed within 7-14 business days
- No refunds for issues not covered under warranty (see Section 6)
- Partial refunds may be issued if only some repair services were completed
14. Mail-In / Pickup Repair
- Free pickup is available within Dhaka city
- Outside Dhaka, customer is responsible for shipping the device to icare BD
- icare BD will return-ship the repaired device via courier at customer's cost
- icare BD is not responsible for damage during customer-arranged shipping
- Devices must be packaged securely to prevent transit damage
15. Customer Feedback & Reviews
- Customer reviews on our website and social media are genuine
- We may request reviews after service completion
- Fabricated negative reviews may result in legal action
16. Intellectual Property
All content on the icare BD website (icarebd.online), including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of icare BD. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.
17. Limitation of Liability
icare BD's total liability for any claim arising from repair services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific repair service. icare BD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
18. Changes to Terms
icare BD reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
19. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
